WELCOME! Admission for all non-Canadians, including refugee claimants, international students, temporary residents, parental study permit and parental work permits, must be completed on an individual basis. Please contact our Admissions Department at 905-890-1221 or admissions@dpcdsb.org to determine eligibility to attend DPCDSB schools and to receive a Letter of Permission.

Who can register at DPCDSB schools?

Elementary school (Kindergarten-Grade 8) admissions are open to Catholic children and children of Catholic parents. Secondary school (Grades 9-12) admissions are under the provincially legislated Open Access and all students are admitted.

How to Register:

  1. Contact our Admissions Department at 905-890-1221 or admissions@dpcdsb.org to determine eligibility to attend DPCDSB schools and to receive a Letter of Permission

  2. Register online using the Online Application System.

  3. Receive email confirmation from the school acknowledging receipt of the online Application Form with further instructions regarding providing supporting documentation. Once supporting documentation has been received at the school office and verified, registration is approved, and the student is enrolled.

  4. The school will schedule an appointment for students to attend the Newcomer Reception and Assessment Centre (NRAC) to complete assessments in literacy and numeracy. An NRAC Teacher will be available to administer both elementary and secondary assessments.  Completion of the assessment is not a requirement to start school.  Students will be able to start school and be assessed at the earliest assessment date and time.
